The Cold War Minute is a daily “what happened on this date” podcast with a special emphasis on the COLD WAR.

While many historians are not aligned on when the Cold War actually started thus for all intents and purposes, The Cold War Minute podcast is using the end of World War II in Europe (7 May 1945) to 1994 when the last of the Army of Occupation Forces depart the re-unified city of Berlin, Germany.

The Cold War Minute Podcast covers topics such as military, politics, civil rights, aerospace, defense, science, and technology during the Cold War.

The Cold War Minute Podcast began on June 1, 2010 and for the next 365 days the content was specific to the events that happened on that day in history.

The Cold War Minute is designed to be used as a tool to inform the general public about what happened during that time in world history by someone who was a willing participant during the latter part of the Cold War.

Each episode runs between 1 to 2 minutes.
